Lockhart told us the Dominica government has no funds to build roads in
the village but they do supply some gravel. The village residents must supply
the cement and labor to build the roads by hand in their mountain village.
The villagers would welcome a work party to help with this and other village
projects in Castle Bruce. They can feed and provide housing. This is a wonderful
experience and great opportunity to visit a real tropical paradise Island. |
